MAKANAI INDUSTRY NIGHT

We're delighted to announce that beginning in February En will introduce a Makanai menu twice monthly, the first and third Tuesday of every month. 

This initiative aligns with our sustainability efforts to reduce excess foods and upcycle ingredients into memorable menu worthy meals. In Japan we use the word Mottainai which conveys a sense of regret over waste, and encourages people to reduce, reuse and transform resources... Makanai, means in-house food made for employees and staff, the food is often made by young chefs in training, and its a concept deeply rooted in Japanese culture. Makanai meals are known for simplicity, utilizing excess in-house ingredients, dishes are not overly complicated and can be easily replicated at home.

MUSIC BAR AT EN

With a strong passion for music, EN’s Founder Reika Alexander was inspired by her grandfather who used to operate a music bar in Tokyo and provided musical entertainment before people had TV or radios. She sought to bring this concept of a music bar to her own restaurant by creating a dedicated listening space to offer evening vinyl sessions and impeccably curated programming with a guest music selector every Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00PM - 2:00 until late.
